Ms. Cellaneous Shows Pictures

I have a shelf in my house that I refer to as the "stupid shelf". I call it that because it just seems like a hard to clean dust collector. A lot of homes have these shelves and people put cute things on them. But, I alwasy figured then you have to go to the trouble of cleaning all those cute little things before they become completely enmeshed in dust bunnies. This year as I was pulling out all the Christmas decorations, I got adventurous. Now that I have all these Christmas items up on the shelf, I realize it has advantages. Chubby can't reach them to try and destroy them. Also, if I put up seasonal decorations, I would have to take those down every so often anyway, so cleaning wouldn't be a huge issue. I hope my MIL is proud of me for using the shelf. I know she would be more so if I would paint that part of the wall!! (Maybe when I take the decorations down.)
I thought this was such a cute picture with Chubby investigating the contents of the Christmas bucket right along with me.

Here's what happens when someone yells, "Touchdown!"

Here's my experiment with the rest of the bullar dough. (Bullar = Swedish treat)
Here's the way it turned out. Tasted yummy. Yup, gone already.

For some strange reason, when I made puffed oven pancakes in my skillet this time, it left a hole in the middle and had a bunch of small bubbles! Looks pretty cool, huh? It looks more like a science experiment than food, but it did taste good. :)

If you chance to meet a frown...

....do not let it stay! Quickly turn it upside down and smile that frown away!

Have a happy day!

The filling is cinnamon, sugar, cardamom, raisins, and butter. I'll try to post the recipe soon. Thanks for stopping by.

Ohhh I love how you have used your shelf. If you do end up painting above the shelf you will have another S&T. [0; I just love your kiddy touch down and turning a frown upside down. [0=
