What is a mess?

I asked Princess to clean up the mess from all the boxes of school books we had just unpacked. These pictures show the results of her "cleaning".

She took all the boxes and hooked them together to form a train. It took her quite some time to get them all latched securely. Once she had that accomplished, she gathered various passengers and had a grand time pulling them around the house.

Mr. Bear managed to fall asleep.

The babies were alert and attentive.

Thanks for the reminder, Princess. Messes are less important than a lot of things. I guess this serves as a good reminder of several things. Enjoy the journey! One man's junk is another man's treasure. Be more positive minded. Use your creativity....

I love the train! So fun.
I am looking forward to reading more of your blog, especially posts about homeschooling. I am researching, pondering and praying about whether I am going to homeschool my children or not.

Thanks Barb. Nothing professional obviously, but we had fun with the picture.

Thanks, I will hang in there!

Spray bottles are a great way to deal with the heat, and I can only imagine how much fun my kids would have had with them. What an ingenious idea!
